Parr Magnetic Drive Shields

Installation Instructions

Parr Magnetic Drive Shields are intended to protect users against a rotating magnetic drive and its

attachments inclusive of the shaft and coupling.

Typical installation steps are as follows:

1. Attach rear bracket to overarm or support plate (as applicable, depending on reactor style)

using round head machine screws provided

2. Attach shield to rear bracket using thumb screws provided

Note: Portions of the rotating magnetic drive close to the reactor head may not be completely covered

by the magnetic drive guard. The user is hereby warned against this residual hazard. Parr believes that

an attempt to eliminate this hazard would result in loss of functionality of the equipment.
